One of my first tests in HDR rendering (bracketing three exposures to make one high-dynamic-range image). This was just handheld, so hopefully I can get some better results from a supported platform.

This is a great HDR, especially for your first attempt. Not overdone (like a lot of HDR's seem to be).

Technospeak has me baffled! How do you "bracket" ? And "supported platform" - a tripod or ... ? The result, however you did it, is fabulously rich in depth and color.

@Sidonie: so i used a digital SLR that has a function to "bracket", or take more than one shot quickly at different exposures. So i got three pictures, one very dark, one pretty good and one very dark. The program on my computer (Photomatix) digitally combined them to pick up the details in the shadows and highlights, making the image closer to what a human eye can capture. The results are normally pretty cool. And yes, I did mean tripod. (but it could be anything... beanbag, etc.)
VERY NICE BALANCE
